I need help on where I can get the nut and bolt (probably washers also) for the actuator eye hole? I have never seen any and I just don't want to assume it is something standard that I can big up at the hardware store. Please advise. Thank you.

How to know if location will work?

This I don't understand. If I use my latitude, I assume the angle of elevation I use in the formula is 90 - latitude. If it is just my latitude (28.8) to be used in that formula, I basically have to line of site to even my zenith sat (81.0)

what is the best way to go about setting the limits on the actuator? Can this be done via the actuator alone or does this need a receiver to do it and if so what is the process?

    DSR-922/DSR-920 Battery Questions

Well, just my luck. About to replace my battery and went to Alan's site for one last look and it seems to be down: http://www.pacificsites.com/~alanjudd/922.htm UPDATE: The site came back up and I soldered the battery holder. Tomorrow I'll attempt to cut out the old battery, although it still...

    Starz HD will leave 4DTV

Thanks for clearing that up. HD would have certainly been preferable, but at least SD is there and from what I understand, the PQ of SD is better than HD lite from the pizza dish companies...correct?

    DSR-922/DSR-920 Battery Questions

Well, I assume what your plan is that you will keep it plugged in and then swap out the battery. If that is confirmed to work, then I agree, we don't need a spare holder and we can swap things out carefully while the system is "hot".

    DSR-922/DSR-920 Battery Questions

I am not sure if it holds the ID when the power is plugged in. Even if it does, that would mean if your battery is completely dead, then you have to perform this surgery while plug into a AC outlet which is extremely dangerous. What the spare holder does, is allow you to plug in a new battery...

    Length of pole (mast)

Thanks all for the input. I am in FL, so the frost line and snow would not apply much (although if Houston and Dallas are getting snow now, so who knows). Anyway, I checked big box stores like Lowes and they don't have this item. Where do you usually pick this up at?
