I've got a 625 and want to transfer some shows to a digital file on my computer. Does anybody know how to do that?

I have my DVR set to record the 2 a.m. SportsCenter every night. It started recording at 1:58 a.m. and stopped two minutes later because the time moved to 3 a.m. Oh well.

The only reason I'm waiting until late next month to switch to Direct TV is that I've paid for the Center Ice package. I'll probably end up having both for about two weeks or so.

I'm dumping Dish, likely for DirecTV because of the Extra Innings situation. I'd consider Fios, but I don't think it offers Center Ice.

Sounds like it's too much money for what it's worth. It's so frustrating, I have friends with SD TVs who have cable AND DirecTV who all get NHLN in SD. Dish is the only holdout! :(

They do that so that you can not hear the announcers chatter during the commercials. At least that his my assumption.

OK, but why do they do that for Colorado and Buffalo games?

Is there a reason why we get the full postgame shows for most Colorado and Buffalo games? Every other game, the feed gets cut pretty quickly after the game. I could guess that the Avs feed continues because Dish's offices are in Colorado.

After watching NHL Network on my dad's DirecTV connection, I'm even more pissed I can't see it on my SD TV. The On The Fly show is awesome. Come on Dish, get with it!

I e-mailed Matt Kliewer of Dish about this and was told in his reply: Hopefully something will come of it. It's total crap that it isn't offered in SD. I have friends with cable and with DirecTV who get it in SD.

Let's hope it's the SD version of the NHL Network. I REALLY hope to have it for the HOF ceremony on Monday for Francis.

And the "Center Ice Extra" has gone away. No loss as far as I'm concerned.

I've still got the same memory size, but I now can group programs with the same title.

It would be nice to get the 150-hour capacity, but I'm not willing to delete all of the programs in order to do that.
