Question about Center Ice and Extra Innings

With the NHL season suspended and we pre-paid for Center Ice, has anybody requested a refund? I realize it's not a lot, but we get "nickel and dimed" often.

    Dish or Direct. (Sorry ;-()

I'm not sure about football, but he noticed my hockey-man-cave and was impressed! The next time I see him, I'll let him know about the Sunday Ticket.

    Dish or Direct. (Sorry ;-()

Sorry to do this, but a neighbor who is just moving in saw my DirecTV dish and wanted to know about Direct. I showed him my "stuff" and explained what I have which is a Genie and 4 clients, one of them a C61. He wanted to know about Dish Network and I really couldn't answer anything technical. I...

BIG 10 is BACK - A Deal Has Been Reached!

Any way to stream this? I have a BTN2GO account, but it won't let me stream now. "Unauthorized". I just got off a chat and a phone call with DISH. They offered me $10 off per month for 12 months. I asked the lady if that's supposed to make me happy and she said yes. I told her it didn't and I...

WOW!!! I now get Bein and Pac 12!! B.F.D. Another soccer channel and left coast sports, AND LOSE THE BIG TEN NET. Something I really appreciate here in Wisconsin.

I agree 100%, except Go Badgers!! (Good luck to Sparty, until we meet!) ;)

    Channel Locations?

What's with all the channel changes and duplicate locations? (HDNet 130 & 362) , (AMC 131 to 9610). What the hell is going on? (Sorry if this subject is posted elsewhere, but I couldn't find another thread)

    Tv #2 HD?

I did a quick search, but couldn't find a thread.....is there a way to make TV2 HD (1080)? I'm considering a man-cave build. TV #2 would be on a lower lever about 20 feet from a VIP 222K or 40 feet from a VIP 722. (*I have TV2 hooked up currently, but it's an old 35" Toshiba tube.) I'm not...

    Convince me to upgrade....

Current products: VIP 222K with TV2 connected (mirrored?) to 2 TV's VIP 722 with TV2 same as above. I'd like to upgrade, but from what I've read it would cost me $200.00 to upgrade, but the monthly charge would only go up about $7 to $14 dollars. I've done a live chat and made 2 different...

    NHL Center Ice HD

I've been getting NHLCI on DISH for years. The HD games offered have gone down recently. I'm coming up to a decision to switch carriers or not buy C.I. in the future. It makes NO sense to offer 1 game with 2 feeds in HD, and some games with NO HD feeds.

The DISH team here on this site needs to be complimented!

Matt helped me in 15 minutes after NUMEROUS phone calls to DISH could not.

    DISH Announces Universal Sports Network

Not a fan, so far. I'd rather see ALL of my Center Ice games in HD than this. JMO

Thinking about switching to DISH. I have questions.

I switched from cable to satellite 6 years ago and will never go back. I've compared an over the air signal from a local channel, to the DISH picture, and I cannot tell the difference. I'm no where near as tech-savvy as most on this board, but I'm sure my opinion is very similar to most!

    New Dish Network HDDVR'S??

We have a 722 and a 222k. I recently called DISH to see if I could upgrade to a 922 (at least) and they told me the promo period had ended. (What promo period?)

One single Christmas Gift From Dish.

ALL NHL Center Ice games in HD; especially since it is a PPV product & I have lifetime HD. SD on a big screen for hockey is disgusting.

    NHL CENTER ICE HD

Maybe somebody more knowledgeable can elaborate on this. Once, something was mentioned about bandwidth. The Canadian feeds are rarely in HD and are "unwatchable". What really fries my ham is when there are both team's feeds in HD, and a different game without even ONE HD broadcast. I like to...

HELP PLEASE from a Dish representative!!!

OOOOPS sorry. Started to post but got called to the front door for T or T'ers. I was going to post how long it took Matt to solve my problem. The answer is: less than 10 minutes!! Thanks Matt! You're the best! :)

HELP PLEASE from a Dish representative!!!

I'm having a billing issue and have been on hold for the past 20 (EDIT: 30) minutes waiting for a supervisor. Previous to that I was on the phone for over 20 minutes with a rep trying to resolve the issue and another 25 minutes with a different rep who said my line was breaking up (after she...

    Unbundle Dish / ATT concerns?

Are those receivers "usable" anymore? (I think) my elderly Dad has one in his basement from those days. By the way, I "unbundled" more than a year ago without problems from Dish. I had NOTHING but problems with AT&T during the bundle.

    NHL CI

Free install? Actually I don't remember! I've had C.I. for quite a few years, but I'm pretty sure there was no extra fee added.

    NHL CI

Even though I'm a seasoned veteran receiving Center Ice, it pisses me off that so many games are not in HD. Other than the NHL Net, there weren't a whole lot of Canadian originated games in HD. (There's NOTHING more difficult to watch than an SD hockey game on a 55 incher.)

    What exactly is OTA?

OOOOO, I like it! Any GOOD splitter will do I assume? I've got to get a better indoor antenna anyway, so I'll do it all at once. All of my locals (Madison, WI) are UHF, so I'm looking for a good one.
  24. RichManitoba

    What exactly is OTA?

Who has the antenna plugged into the DISH receiver, and who plugs the antenna directly into the TV and uses a different input? Is there a pro or con to either? I know the locals OTA show up in yellow on the guide, but I seem to get a stronger signal going straight thru' the TV. When I lose...
