I've noticed lately that commercials for "Christian Mingle" always seem to get replaced by another commercial ontop of it (Dish inserted?) Is this deliberate or just some coincidence?

That's why many of them are ditching the names and staying with the acronyms...which mean absolutely nothing.

That can be said for practically anything Discovery has their hands on nowadays.

If anything, people are becoming OUTRAGED how the commercials are being treated with the utmost disrespect. Shown in SD and the network has the NERVE to interrupt a 10 minute commercial break with 2 minutes of programming.

Preferred Plus XF Triple (non-promo) shows as 190.49 for me. Not sure what other BS fees are tacked onto that ( Equipment, installation, taxes and fees, including Broadcast TV Fee (currently up to $1.50/mo.) and similar program recovery fees, and the Regulatory Recovery Fee and other applicable...

Most likely goes up a second time after 24 months. About $190 non-promo price for that here.

What was the excuse when they started charging fees on those 5xx DVRs? In any event, everyone seems to be moving to a $20-25/month household equipment/service fee. Comcast does it. Directv does it. Dish sort of does it (but not to everyone....YET)

I'm surprised the Comcast goons haven't shut Directv down yet!

And if anyone hadn't heard, Directv pulled the plug. Whether or not it stays unplugged is another story...

I still say a lot of the internet "support" that's being posted are from NBC Universal (-slash-Comcast) shills and/or employees.

Until they decide "Hey! We can charge people for the receivers too! And they have to pay it! WOOT!"
