my upgrade/install is tomorrow; coming from 1- 722k and 2- 222k's... connected to 6 TV's; 2 tv's to each receiver right now. any idea how long the upgrade will take? is it as simple as just plugging in boxes to my tv, or, will there need to be a lot of re-wiring? Thanks

well, finally pulled the trigger today, on what I thought was a pretty good deal.. had 1-722k, and 2- 222k's; am getting 2 Hoppers, and 4 joeys for 100.00 total out of pocket, with free install of course.. Is this a good deal, or should I have pushed for something better? thanks

a couple comedies, like how i met your mother, 30 rock, and one or 2 others, but the rest of network tv is crap...couldnt care less about "Prime Time Anytime"...stupid feature to use as a "hook" for the new boxes, IMO

good points man; since moving the sling adapter off the top, and to the back of my rack, my box definitely feels cooler; although, the settings still show the temps the same, someone else said it takes a long time for the max temp to "update" itself, so who really knows what temp the hd is at...

well, that, and how many of these things they need to have China build and ship over here...

Thanks for the insight; I will check the temps again tomorrow, but, moving the sling adapter off the top of the receiver has made it feel a lot cooler to the touch, so hopefully this hd isn't going to be fried soon..

does the sling adapter need to be out in the open, on top of the receiver, or can it be moved off, slightly behind the receiver? i just realized that my sling adapter has been sitting on top of the receiver; its warm, and the heat it gives off may be migrating right into the case of the 722...

is yours in an enclosed cabinet, or "open air"? mine is in "open air"
