Wow .... sound kind of angry and not very well informed.

Lied to about locals in HD .. announced on CC and a year later still not there. Also the RSN's in HD are great and really enjoy the MLB network. Dish just dropped too many channels and always seemed to be in disputes. Very happy with D*!

I agree with the original poster ... these are the only channels I miss from E*..... although my wife would like E Entertainment. Epix has great movies and I do wish D* would add both of them

Congrats ... as an ex-E* customer for years you will love the HR24's and MRV. I was tired of waiting for my HD locals and being lied to. Also love my three RSN's in HD 24 /7. Seems like a lot of ex Dish people here and all seem to be happy! Welcome to D*!!!

My HR24 only works once in awhile ... usually after a reset. Hopefully an upgrade will help this out.

Jimbo ... being a newbie to D* my screen saver doesn't come on for Sonic Tap ... any way to activate or set timer on this? Really liked E*s banner that cameup right away on the music stations.

Just got my HR24 and H24 installed on Saturday. Really impressed with the DVR and it really flies. Miss the changing guide button that Dish had but overall really impressed. Only problems are my Caller ID is not working. Set it correctly, changed the phone cord, but it still does not work...

Rey ... I am getting D* installed tomorrow and am having second thoughts. I think the HD Lite is a bunch of crap ... do you really notice a difference? The only reason I am switching is for HD locals which Charlie announced coming last November... but still waiting. I am getting the new HR24...

Pulled what? It is on 214 ... weathercast is on 213. An agreement was made with Weather Channel.

Superior service is subjective. E* has better receiver's and better pricing generally. D* has better marketing and a slightly better picture. I have had both!

But can you watch off the AM21 live and record from the two tuners?

Just visited my dealer and he has a sheet showing these five channels coming as well. The new HR24 receiver, ESPNU, my locals in HD, Travel and WGN in HD, and my three RSN's24/7 ... I signed up today for Direct TV after 10 years with Dish. Being installed next Friday. Hope I didn't do...

On the second TV remote how do you access your MRV on the second TV. Does the remote have a list of recorded shows. Also can you set a record from an H24 or does it only work on an HR24 (main DVR)?

If you would read my post again I said I will take quantity AND quality over just quality. If offered one or the other I agree quality first.

I agree on the so called HD channels that show little HD content like MTV and VH1. I also would prefer ESPNU, Travel and AMC. Living in Chicago area WGN is huge. Hopefully D*, since they are the sports leader, will add this with D12. MLB is the only channel I really want that D* has ... and...

I'll take quantity and quality ... you can have quality only!

I will ... and Travel, WGN, MSNBC and the countless others D* doesn't carry. I'll also keep my 722!

At least they have it ... more than I can say about D*. Hopefully they will add the channels mentioned and more and actually catch up to E*.
