3 months ago I wouldn't have cared, but now our 1 year old loves this channel. We only watch maybe an hour a day, but my wife is pretty mad about this one. They have a ticker on the channel today directing viewers to the sprout website to voice their opinions and fill out a petition.

Just got my Samsung Focus Windows Phone 7 today. I'm surprised to see there's already a DirecTV app for it. I haven't seen it on their website yet, but it works and looks great. Just an FYI if anyone else has or is planning on getting a WP7 device.

I have used both, but since it's only $25 to get the DECA unit I would suggest getting one. It frees up more ethernet jacks where the receivers are. If you buy it and decide to use wired instead, just sit it aside in case you have issues then hook it back up to be supported.

Does it really matter if you get the emails? All I got was an order confirmation. Just ask them to resend it to you. If not, you can view the same thing online. You don't get anything special and I just signed up about 2 months ago.

With my experience I can say the installers can vary one company to the next. The first company in my experience was horrible and have no idea how they are still in business. The local retailer I went through was completely great in every way. Anyways, glad to hear you got it all sorted out.

I believe Stonecold posted a code you can enter on the remote to keep it from sending additional information to the receiver. This is supposed to improve response time as well.

I don't think they can legally hold you in a bind if you signed nothing. It will probably be like pulling teeth though. What equipment issues are you having? Maybe we can help you better than the CSRs. Or maybe Stonecold will be along to save the day.

Firmware update strikes again! Good deal. It sucks you had to go through what you did, but it ended up working in the end.

Glad I don't use OTA. But apparently MediaShare is messed up only on the HR24-500 as well.
