I don't get CH 498 at all. Before the first release of 9300 and 9301< the other night, I never received 498 even with trying all the tricks. After I tuned to 9300 and 9301 the first time I have received 498 flawlessly. I notice a lot of people experienced the same thing...Strange

HR20-100 passive setup Ox18a I previously received 480 & 481 correctly 498 never worked for me, persistant black/grey screen After rebooting my receiver, I now get 9300, 9301 and for the first time 498 works as well.

Earl is now saying the window for the test channels is 3 hours, I might not get any sleep tonight at all.

I'm with you. I'll monitor the forums, but I'm not going to call DIRECTV until "someone in the know" says that we should. I have a feeling this is an issue that DIRECTV is aware of and will fix all in due time.

Several people have reported a couple of fixes.. A) tune to 73, then 74, then 498 and see if it works B) tune to 498, pause for 30 seconds, then fast forward 1X, see if it works. neither of these tricks worked for me
