Anybody using an ATSC card with DvbViewer?

I was using schedules direct for a source of xml data. I am unaware of any ability to utilize the schedule from ota, but I haven't been to the DvbViewer forum for close to two years. If you don't get an answer here, I would go there and lurk around.

    DVB-S/S2 and ATSC Combo Cards

I guess I dodged a bullet with that then. It was on sale w/ free shipping last week at newegg so I jumped on it! I didn't read the specs. I had read a review where it was suppose to be a very good tuner. I had initially installed it on XP pro SP2. No problems. I then installed SP3 because...

    DVB-S/S2 and ATSC Combo Cards

I have recorded with all three ATSC tuners at the same time using the recording service. It takes very little cpu to do this. If I open DvbViewer while the recording service is recording and try to view a channel that is recording, I get a message that the hardware is not available. I can...

    DVB-S/S2 and ATSC Combo Cards

I have the dvbworld 2104 and three atsc tuners running on DvbViewer. A Happauge hvr-950, Avermedia Volar and Avermedia Volar Max. The only thing I don't like about the dvbworld 2104 is that it is so small I keep knocking it off. The Volar max is the best ATSC tuner of the three. It is even a...

    GB-PVR Software

I played with it for a while. It seems stable and has a very nice "pvr" feel to it. I used it with a skystar2 card. It has built in support for xmltv tv guide from schedules direct. That is great if you can find a listing for the channels that you are watching. I set it up to import the epg...

    Splitters 101

Anole, I do appreciate all of your input. The other thread made it sound like such an easy solution, and it still may be. I am about to abandon the project for something that will produce more fruit. Thanks!

    Splitters 101

Yes, that is what I was trying to do. I think that you misunderstood which direction that the power is passing. The diode is backwards in your drawing. Yes, after realizing that neither my motor or LNB was functioning at all, I checked for voltage with a multimeter. Only a few tenths of a...

    Splitters 101

Read this thread for an explanation for what I wanted it for. You will understand why it will not work for me. http://www.satelliteguys.us/free-air-pc-dvb-discussion/141528-sg2100-insertion-loss.html I am also able to use them with stacked lnb's. (one port passing)

    Splitters 101

I purchased a hand full of splitters on ebay from a seller by the name of palmpdb. The one on the top is one port pass. It will pass voltage from the in port to the out port in the direction of the arrow. It will also pass voltage from that same out port to the in port backwards from the...

    Anybody own a Stab MS220 ?

I was thinking about using it with a DVB card. I would really like to know if it requires a receiver or if it can act as a stand alone unit, supplying its own voltage. Also It says that it displays the rotor position. It drives me nuts that I get no feedback to tell me what the motor is...

DVB world dvb-s2 will not record files larger than 4gb

Someone mentioned DvbViewer in the other dvbworld thread. I can't verify (yet) that the Dvbworld will work with DvbViewer. I do know that DvbViewer supports dvb-s2. Maybe I will be able to tell you next week:D As far as writing larger files, a one hour recording of Lost from the high bit...

Stacked Ku LNBF for a Primestar Dish

Yea I have one 84e and several of the smaller 30" elliptical. I also have an oval Channel Master that was used for DTN service. The 84e is the only one that I have in service. It takes about 150' of coax to get out past the trees where I can get the full arc. With a Stab HH120 my signal is...
