First up Verizon Fios, with a loss of 74,000 subscribers, but had great gains with their 5G Service.

3rd Quarter is always less then the other 3, expect Dish and DirecTV's losses to be higher in the 4th, due to the price increases that hit in October.
DirecTV's losses might be high in the 3rd, due to the Disney dispute, the rumors are they lost a million, which caused them to take the deal Disney offered.
This quarter should not be so bad for most providers.

And it looks like Comcast wants to get rid of the Cable Channels (USA, SyFy, etc), probably before it affects the value of the company, as it did with Warner to the amount of $10 Billion to the negative.
Comcast President Mike Cavanagh delivered an eye-opening update to investors on this morning's third-quarter earnings call, saying the company is exploring creating a new stand-alone entity to house its cable networks.
"Like many of our peers in media, we're experiencing the effects of the transition of our video businesses and have been studying the best path forward for these assets," Cavanagh said. "To that end, we are now exploring whether creating a new, well-capitalized company owned by our shareholders and comprised of our strong portfolio of cable networks would position them to take advantage of opportunities in the media landscape and create value for our shareholders. We are not ready to talk about any specifics yet, but we'll be back to you as and when we reach firm conclusions."
The news comes in the wake of Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Global taking a collective $15 billion in write downs on the value of their cable assets and ongoing declines in linear viewing and advertising. Cord-cutting is shrinking the pay-TV bundle by millions of subscribers each year and it is difficult to know where the floor will ultimately be.

I keep expecting it to slow down, since Cable/Satellite TV are now under 50 Million Subscribers, but it just gets worse for them.

It makes sense, however, I would want more types of restraints, so if one doesn't work, the other does ... the restraints coming over the shoulder I would have expected ... with a Seat belt as last resort.
Fwiw, I inquired with what they use on Coasters at Cedar Point, various Coasters, different restraints according to what the car and track requires ...

Wasn't exactly sure where to post this. Just had a customer come in inquiring about internet. He has HughesNet and had heard good things about mine. He asked if we provided email addresses and it kinda caught me off guard. I said he should be able to keep whatever email he had been using....my sister in law is still using a BellSouth email addy and they haven't been around here for many years. He said he had gotten a letter from HughesNet stating that they had until Nov 16th to save, move, forward, whatever, their Hughesnet emails because they would lose them after that date.
I have never heard of a company simply mass-deleting email accounts (the customer still has his HughesNet service). From what I understand, in the past, the company who was ditching their email service simply sold the customer base to a company like Google.
Anyone else getting this letter. He said he would show it to me tomorrow when I go out there and set up his internet.

For some reason, the satelliteguys.us site is loading a lot slower than usual on both Chrome on my Asus laptop and Safari on my iPhone.
I'm also seeing longer appearances of the blue bar at the top and the "3 blue bars" loading symbol.
