100 HD Channels? I am only counting 95

25 RSN (according to Dish's website)
45 HD Absolute (include 5 PPV)
17 Additional HD channels as of 8/1/2008

HBO HD, Showtime HD, Starz HD, Cinemax HD x 3, Big Ten HD, WGN HD

That's 95 total...how did Dish come up with 100+ total HD channel now??

It is certainly stretching the truth.

Essentially:
65 national Basic & Premium (including tomorrow's 17. Swanni actually has some useful info and has these listed on his site)
6 HD PPV (According to Swanni; I thought they only had 5?)
25 RSNs
14 "VOD HD channels" (The announced VOD 1080p, they say they will offer "up to" 14. Ridiculous to count these as channels)
4 locals (in a number of markets)
65+6+25+14+4=114 channels

I'm far more interested in the "36" they plan on adding to get to 150.

I am starting to realize why Vampz has big issues with channel counts (Did I say that??? )

Now channel counts are no longer about adding channels to increase the number one offers, instead it is about changing what is counted just to increase the actual number listed. I just wish there was some consistency with counting.

They will probably just be more VOD offerings.

Does Dish offer NBA League Pass & NHL Center Ice in HD??
If so, maybe those are been considered HD channel also??
