125W Ku

I haven't had much luck aiming my .75M Channel Master dish at 125W. What is a good sampling rate? I"m using a single polarity Channel Master LNB which is set to horizontal and a CoolSat 6000 FTA.

You may want to try 11982 V30000 3/4, its scrambled but a very strong signal to help you locate 125W.
Then you can blind scan to find the other TPs. Most of the active TPs are vertical. Also all the TPs are DVB-S2. No DVB-S.

I don't have much experience with the single polarity LNBs. If I turn it 90 degrees will that be vertical?

Yes, that will do it if it is currently horizontal.

I think you are right. The 6000 is DVB-S. It will NOT work on 125W.

Nope. I think Coolsat was done by the time everything went S2.

CS 6000 won’t do S2 and won’t see anything on 125w. It also doesn’t do AC3 and several other useful things. Pretty much a paperweight now.

The last DVB-S TP disappeared sometime last year. Its all S2.
