Is it possible to connect to seperate recievers registered to 2 different dish network accounts up to 1 superdish using the dp34 switch?

Josh

yea it's completely possible, the accounts have nothing to do with the dish, just the reciever

The issue isn't mechanical, but problems can arise from other places. For example, I recently installed a superdish on a balcony of an upstairs apartment. The downstairs wanted dish but had no line of site, so both are tied in to the upstairs dish.

Two major problems can occur...

1. Upstairs guy moves out, new guy doesn't want dish on his balcony.
2. Either up or down cancels service and is required to return leased equipment, including lnbs.

(1) Find a way to the roof or other open "exclusive use" space. Several other board members are knowledgable on the legalities.
(2) The owner must be the one returning/keeping the dish and LNB.
What happened to the borrower's "installed" equipment?

If the lnbf's are taken you can buy new ones to put on the dish or get him lnbf's to send back. Just tell the owner of that dish to tell you when he has to move so that you know to provide him with the hardware to mail out to Dish.

In this case I left an extra set of LNBs with the downstair customer. That way if either one cancels they have a set to return.
