We have two houses on the same property. Years ago, a local electronics store set up our Directv account with DVRs in both houses (one account). Is this against the rules? We're always nervous about having tech people come out because they will see that there are DVRS in both houses. But at the same time....it's our property....why would we not be allowed to have as many DVRS as we want regardless of if they are in the garage, guest house, barn, dog house, second house on the property, etc??

IMO, it's really nothing to be concerned with, & most techs could care less...I would have NO problem doing it myself in that situation...

It's perfectly OK to do this. I have one dish on my house, another dish on my home office in the yard.
