2010 U.S. Open (PGA)

Wow! It's heating up going into the last hole: (nobody is under par)

Graeme McDowell E 17
Gregory Havret +1 17
Ernie Els +2 73
Tiger Woods +3 17
Phil Mickelson +3 73

P.S. Ernie missed 5 or 6 short putts and the rest of the field is probably kicking themselves for the lost opportunities. Great tournament!!!

Yikes! Dustin Johnson is getting ready to post an 11-over par today. He went into the final round -6 and leading my 3-strokes...even a +5 would have given him the championship. Anyway, McDowell is on the 18th green and needs to 2-putt from from 25 feet to win the U.S. Open.

Congrats to Graeme McDowell...

...the 2010 U.S. Open tournament champion. He is the first European to win the U.S. Open since Tony Jacklin did it in 1970 and hails from Northern Ireland. The ratings is Europe were probably way up this year since Havret, who finished 2nd, is from France. Also Ernie Els, who hails from South Africa, finished 3rd while Mickelson and Woods tied for 4th place

Great tournament.
