Most of the high profiled matches will not start until 2 or 3 in the am.

Professionals use to get guaranteed money to play tourneys.
Note that this was for another tourney. Not one of the grand slams.
Novak can make $1 million by playing an exhibition match if he wants.
The BBC link within mentions several Wimbledon matches. The story is just getting traction....

Not saying it's not true.
I'd be very surprised if top players are involved.
As I pointed out they can make 5 times that playing an exhibition.
Lower ranked players yes. I could see them throwing a match for a betting gain.
Not high-profile players, but at a high-profile tournament....
