Honestly, I don't want to see an offense like Denver score on even ONE LONG DRIVE on Rex's big bad defense. That would be embarassing.

Michael Vick hurt again? Is that news anymore? Andy Reid should announce when Vick did NOT get hurt in a game. THAT would be something!

How about some humor???

As we move into the crux of the 2011 NFL season, it's time for Page 2 to assess all 32 teams and rebrand their logos based on their performances on the field.

Rift Over Tim Tebow Custom 'Jesus' Jerseys

Monday, November 14, 2011 10:22 pm
Written by: Ben Maller

He's the model citizen, the guy you want your daughter to date, yet Tim Tebow can't help being the most polarizing figure in all of professional sports.

And during the upcoming holiday shopping season, Tebow is going to get even more controversial -- once again without any action on his part.

A handful of Denver fans have decided a customized Tim Tebow jersey would make for the perfect Christmas gift. What could possibly be troubling about that? A whole lot, depending on who you ask.

Rather than have the last name "Tebow" on the back of the Broncos jersey, these fans have placed "Jesus" above Tebow's No. 15.

Not everyone thinks it's appropriate. Some fans told CNN (via KTVQ) that the new custom apparel is blasphemous.

"Sports is one thing, and Jesus is another thing," Traci Yown, a mom Christmas shopping for her son told the network. "I like to have their names, their last names on the jerseys. I'm a Christian, but I mean I wouldn't want people going around having Jesus on the back of their jerseys."

But Rev. Marcus Buckley of a Baptist Church in Greer, S.C., believes those who speak out against such public displays of religion are haters.

"To me it just shows a cultural bias against Christ and Christianity," Rev. Buckley said.

Sorry....Eagles do not equate the Heat...the Heat MADE the NBA FINALS...30 out of 32 will not make the Super Bowl...

oh jeez! :river

I think they were referring to the "Dream Team", and that is all......my goodness, some people.....

I'm surprised there was no outburst about Carson Palmer stuffing his face with a hot dog! :D

Anyone that needs the difference...well..lol..that says it all.

Tim Tebow reminds me of a rock band who have just started touring while still learning how to play their musical instruments. They most likely will eventually get good, but they're not a pretty sight(or sound) right now. I read an article about tomorrow's game between the Broncos & Jets where the Jets are trying to figure out what to expect from the Broncos & Tebow. The article mentions that the Broncos play in what appears to be passing formations, but then Tebow options the ball, gives it to the running back,or runs it himself. It also mentions that Tebow runs over people like a fullback instead of trying to dodge them. Now it is obvious that Tebow can't keep doing THAT for long or he won't last very long in the NFL. The article also mentioned how Tebow's passes are ugly, but then he'll throw a beautiful pass that almost always ends up being a touchdown. Tomorrow night will be interesting seeing that Mark Sanchez has problems of his own & you just don't know which Jets' team will show up tomorrow night.
