2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Not a major hockey fan, nor pretend to know everything about it, but I know a questionable call when I see one....and to disallow a goal when the Panther player was clearly push into Brodeur was terrible and clearly change the energy in both the stadium and the ice for 2 periods.

Rangers, Flyers, Predators, and Blues all in 6 game's

I've been thinking since the moment the Rangers won last night...

Just imagine the match-up for the Eastern Championship if it is Rangers vs. Flyers!!! Not say that the other teams are not worthy, but their is enough bad blood and emotions between NYC and PHL that it could be something else to experience!

I'm very excited to see the way the Kings & Blues series plays out. Naturally, I am partial to the Kings, but their season story lines are so parallel that it should be a fine match-up.

Capitals in 6 (call it a "hunch")
Flyers in 5
Blues in 6 (now my Stanley Cup favorite)
Coyotes in 7 (GREAT goalie matchup in this series)

Saturday's schedule......

Capitals at Rangers- Game 1- 3:00pm ET (NBC)
Kings at Blues- Game 1- 7:30pm ET (NBCSN)

What a sports day! Hockey wise: Two huge first games of the 2nd round. Reports coming from NYC this morning are that is is possible Brian Boyle is in today's game. The well-rested Blues and Kings will have all eyes on them to see if they are ready or rusty afyer all that time off.

Sunday's schedule.....

Devils at Flyers- Game 1- 3:00pm ET (NBC)
Predators at Coyotes- Phoenix leads series 1-0- 8:00pm ET (NBCSN)

Monday's schedule......

Capitals at Rangers- NY leads series 1-0- 7:30pm ET (NBCSN)
Kings at Blues- LA leads series 1-0- 9:00pm ET (CNBC)
