2017-18 NCAA Football Thread

UGA looked really good yesterday. Well, maybe Tenn. is just that bad. But as of today, you would say, Bama and UGA in Atlanta.

I would say Troy beating LSU was a huge upset but I know several people on KY Sports radio called that yesterday.

Far as the Cats go, who flippin knows!!!!!!!

Could be either.

SDSU sits at 5-0 for the 1st time since the mid 70's No thanks to that blatantly intentional eye gouge that NIU's Jones-Davis administered to Rashaad Penny.

Watched Alabama vs TAMU yesterday and not that impressed with Alabama for having #1 ranking. A&M because of injuries has a true freshman 3rd string QB. Remove a couple big plays and could've had different outcome.

I'm not sure if the Oklahoma loss hurt or helped the Buckeyes.
Normally you hope the teams you lose to continue to win, however, with a Loss it allows teams to move up.
If they win out, they're still in. With the SEC sucking so bad as a whole, I don't see them getting 2 teams in. ACC's best 2 teams look to play against each other in the championship game, so that limits them to 1. Big 12 is likely get left out again once TCU loses, so the gives the Big Ten a slot for a one-loss Ohio St (if and only if they win out).

The SEC being a dumpster fire this year isn't doing Alabama any favors. They've had no competition, as at some point that might come to bite them. Same for Georgia who's in a god awful East.

I agree, however, winning out won't be easy ...
The biggest game for them is the Penn State game in about 3-4 weeks.
Then of course you have THE game against ichigan . .. and all the other teams that want to Make thier season .... and the Championship game against Wisconsin.

1-3, Jimbo is taking some heat now over the assistants, and rightfully so. His pressers are terrible, but I just think he can't say anything else. If he doesn't revamp in the offseason, the fan base will turn on him and attendance will be down, same things that got Bobby B less than 10 years ago (assistant loyalty). This season is done, so what he does in the offseason will be the tell. With the remaining schedule I figure 6-6, or 7-5, and with the talent they have, COACHING...

The Miami game was a fun one to watch, I think every FSU and Miami fan at the stadium aged a few years.
