Hi. I have a 24" Von Weise actuator arm moving my 10' c-band dish for FTA using my 4dtv as a mover. My arm started not sending correct pulses back to the receiver and I'm getting off the satellites. I can't find anyone who carries replacement sensors for these arms. Been a great dish mover for many years. I tried skyvision and nothing in stock. Any ideas. Thanks, Chad

Have you had it apart yet, and know if it has for sure a reed sensor. Some like mine have IR sensor in them. Mine had a cracked solder joint on the circuit board. I re-soldered been fine since.

chad, if you'll make a picture of it, I think I have one here that I don't need. I'm just not sure what kind of motor is what for, it was a spare I bought long ago, and is still brand new.

Oh boy I'm not sure how to get a picture into this thing, but the sensor is black & skinny and a little over a inch long, 1/4" wide with a plastic tab on one side with two screw holes in it where it mounts to the base. Two very short wires come out of the same end that go to the circuit board. Does this sound even close? It's also about 1/4" thick. Thanks, Chad

Yes that sounds like it , from what I remember. Seems like it was sort of wedge-shaped thing. I know where it is ( I THINK lol)....I'll dig it up tomorrow and get back to you, maybe I can upload a picture of this one for you to compare. The name on it , if I recall correctly was Houston Tracker or something like that.

Ok finally got the digital camera prog back in my computer. Here's a close picture of the thing you seek, I believe.
Send me a private message with your mailing address and I'll get it on the way to you.

Thank you so much you are a kind soul but that's not it. Mine has both screw holes on same side and it's square. Thanks much you almost saved the day. I contacted Von Weise directly and they e-mailed me back requesting the model # so I hope I'm on the right track. Thanks again. Chad

I might have one of them on an old motor box, I'll look around tomorrow. I saved some old actuators that the tube went out on, maybe one of them has one you want. I never really thought they'd be good for anything, haha.
