What are you favorite channels?

I will be getting a free to air setup shortly and am wondering what everyone's favorite channels are. I am a big sports fan and am looking forward to watching all the life sports feeds. In looking at TheList, it is pretty intimidating. So what are some of your favorite channels?

I try not posting my faves in the open. I dunno but things seem to go away faster the more you mention them.

I miss mhz and there was a Russian channel that had a lot of sports. Russia Today? I think its gone or scrambled now.

I would say my favorite is still the 3 PBS HD channels on AMC 21 (125W) KU.

Not only is the picture amazing, the content is wonderful! My motorized dish is normally parked at 125W.

The local college team sports feeds. Primarily football. Fortunately the sat cordinates are posted on their web site for every game. I don't have to search for them. History and BIO channels and BVN (all 3 on SES1) RT (Russia Today) and Al Jazeera English. I'm looking to change this with some new dishes this spring.

Honestly? good quality feeds of PBS (local stations break up on OTA reception) and just any of the "occasional finds" or "feeds" that show up.

My TV is tuned to MeTV almost exclusively these days. I also watch NASA-TV, ThisTV, and RTV quite a bit. These are all on 87W C-Band (although RTV is also available on 83W Ku).

Besides those, I have a fixed 1 meter Ku-Band dish on 125W for the PBS feeds.

also forgot to mention I'm not a huge college basketball fan but it is cool to see those internet only games from "the big sports network"...you know.....blah blah blah 3

are there plenty of feeds on KU band or are they mostly C band?

plenty on KU sports wise....easier to run a KU uplink truck to a place than a C-Band one

Currently, I watch RTV, River Broadcasting somewhat..Kuwait has some interesing things on once in awhile..SCETV..I really miss Gospel Music TV (or whatever its called this week), the Equity Channels, Ohio News Network (though I get it on Cable) and Montana PBS
