Found one of these for $1 at a local thrift store.

I just had to brag on here about it since nobody I see on a daily basis has any idea what I am talking about and gets glazed over eyes when I start telling them about anything FTA, haha.

Anyway, I can't wait to put this thing to use!

I took an FTA receiver to a hamfest sometime back, and guys looked at it without a clue!!! Then we have those think FTA is getting DN by hook or crook. El_Viejo

I snagged a jvi tr-8ws 3x8 the same way years ago,same price $1
It required a 24vdc power supply for the amp,which I didn't have.

yeah sadly alot of people think free to air = getting Dish Network for free

I try to explain it to folks but most dont care. My neighbor always thought I was doing "no good" until I found a hockey game that he wanted to watch but couldnt see it on cable. Was on big dish We watched it in his heated garage
