anyone getting 30w in ohio? I have a hughesnet dish to point in that direction.

I am getting 30w fine here in Northwest Ohio with a Hughesnet dish and LNB with the transmitter removed.

30W on Ku is good at least as far west as the Chicago area on a 30"(76cm) dish as long as you have good line of sight. I believe the elevation from my location is between 12 and 14 degrees above the eastern horizon. I believe we have a member in Colorado that receives it there but might be using a 1.8M dish.

I pick up 30 really well near Omaha, NE with either a 76 cm or a 1.2M dish. Signal quality is really quite strong.
Just wanted to let you know that it is receivable this far west. It goes further west, too.

Yeah, I'm in northeast Ohio. I get it just fine. I can even get 15 degrees west. There's a lot more on 30W though.

I think they added channels,the openbox scanned 70+ channels

thanks for all the replies, found 30w. press tv is the only english channel i have all the other channels are spanish. are there more english channels i'm not recieving?
