Can that be legally to use the freqs, in USA for satellite downlink just like in Europe is using now?

With all the 5G news going on and find some relief space for C band satellite users?

I'd like to see all services moved to Ku instead. But that's not gonna happen until someone comes up with a transmission method to overcome rain fade, of course. Adaptive Coding and Modulation is suppose to be a technique to reduce rain fade but I don't know how well it would work with consumer grade FTA receivers.

or just get a bigger dish. My 7.5' KTI dish virtually eliminated rain fade on Ku.

FCC would need to relocate the maritime, aeronatical and land mobile services services currently allocated to those frequencies.

BTW... These frequencies are already in use in the Americas for Latin America FSS.
