So does anyone know what is up with locals yet? Will it be for a market that is short networks like for instant Lake Charles, LA doesn't have FOX yet. And another city is Bluefield, WV I think it's missing ABC. Will the person get west coast feed or east coast feed? Since both LA and NY are on Eastern Arc.

if there is a retrans disagreement Dish by law cannot give you another of that network. In those 2 cases there is a retrans agreement issue

Interesting that a local cable news channel (Northwest Cable News) got added. Guess Belo Corp strongarmed Dish to carry

Did Dish get back in the distant game?

I'm shocked! NWCN may show up??? My jaw just hit the floor...

if Dish is carrying one regional news network owned by Belo, does this mean Dish might end up being the first Satellite provider to carry Belo's TXCN. if so, i wouldn't mind them adding this since it's a news channel that shows newscast from all four Belo O&O in Texas, which includes KENS in San Antonio, KVUE in Austin, KHOU in Houston and of course the local ABC station in my TV market of the DFW Metroplex, WFAA, Belo's flagship station.

I would call RFD-HD far more significant than OWN

All in your point of view I guess. I have no idea which channel has a larger audience. I do not watch either very often. In fact I have only sen OWN once and that was because a program had an intriguing title.

Switched to Fios enjoying all my ny sports. And over 120 hd channels. Goodbye dish forever. I hate u. U have been a real disappointment here in ny.

I resubbed to Dtv for 1 channel MLB. Say what you want about DISH, but I watch Dtv for MLB and for everything else I watch DISH. I've also noticed that the HD version of the games (JIP) are coming thru much better than last year...so, improvement there too.

cartoon network is not for kids after 7pm or 8pm

Like I said too early for the kids cutoff especially the ones that live in the CT or PT time zone. Nick cut off even earlier. Disney is a 24/7 kids channel but we no longer get it in HD. At least give us the Hub in HD which is a 24/7 kids channel. I know there is not much HD on there but it is still way better than adding the other Discovery channel OWN which I did not or ever will watch even in HD.
