4dtv subscription in Canada

I live in Canada. Is my choice limited to the DSR-920 receiver? I can get DSR-922 for less.
If I decide to subscribe would I run to any problems with DSR-922?
Thanks for advice.
 
All 4dtv's authorize the same. The 922 does more symbol rates and get's more channels. The only problem in Canada is some services may not sell to you.
 
guess you could always have someone in the states order for you giving their address and have a conference call with you making sure your hit went through while you were pointed at G1-3.

I think they call grey market subscription or something like that.
 
I subscribe to US programming from Canada using my 4DTV unit. It's just a matter of having a US address. My US address is completely fake, but it works for ordering. The 4DTV programming is far easier to subscribe to than the small dish folks.
