4DTV warmup click

Hello everyone,
I was given a used DSR-922 receiver the other day.
When i hooked it up to my dish and plugged it in ,it started clicking and going
back and forth from the 3 eights and warm up. when i disconnected the ku coax it stopped clicking and went through the proper cycle. does this mean i have a short
in the ku coax or bad ku lnb or both?

Yes most probably.

look reallllll close at the end of the ku wire. (maybe grab a magnifying glass)

Look for one of those silver "mesh" wires hanging loose and touching the center copper wire.

That has always hosed my receiver when I've re-terminated my wires.
