So I feel kinda dumb; I assume FS would have a schedule somewhere online of where it's 4K truck(s) would be to at least guesstimate what 1 game Dish will be airing; but I can't find said schedule.
Am I using the wrong search term "Fox Sports 4K schedule" or is there simply not one online?

Yep. 4K does not live up to the hype and expectation.
Then you haven't seen real 4k or your equipment doesn't display it or display it well. Possibly your 4k upconverts 1080 so well that it is doing it's job so it's undetectable in it's difference. I've seen 4k that one could see individual blades of grass while a deer ate 100 or more yards away.

Great, now bluegras will be requesting the 4K Deer Eating Grass Channel.

My EPG for channel 540 says "CFB: Kanas St at Texas Tech" starts at noon EDT 11/04.

Is it my imagination, or are most of these 4K games from Texas Tech?

No most of the games are not Texas Tech but most seem to be big 12. All of the games have included at least one Big 12 team, although some have been played at Big 10 schools, except for the one game that was all Pac 12...

I watched part of the 4K college game yesterday and no, THAT 4k does not live up to the hype. A 1080P blu-ray would blow the PQ of that broadcast away. It was very disappointing, with visible compression artifacts upon close inspection on my 65" Vizio P.

Unless satellite providers are able to make gigantic leaps in the bandwidth they can provide from their birds, they will be supplanted in the coming decade by the proliferation of 5G wireless streaming that will offer near 4K HDR blu-ray quality picture.

As someone who watches a lot of 4K netflix, amazon and blu-rays - I was expecting a little more.
