I have just ordered directvHD new service. I was reading another post on another site that said I would not be able to use my current diplexor setup to access OTA channels because of this new dish technology. I would have to have another line drop to get OTA. Is this info correct?

That is correct. The i.f. frequency (LNB output) for 103b overlaps the UHF TV band and there will be interference. The recommended way is to run a separate cable for OTA.

However, some people have had success locating the B-Band converter (normally attached to the receiver) nearer to the dish (it should not be exposed to the elements) and adding a diplexer after that for the OTA antenna connection.

Note: This question probably should have been asked in the main forum, since it is not related to the CE program.
