622 Internet Connection

I have a 622 receiver and want to hook it up to the internet for movie downloads and remote access. On the Dish website support page for broadband connections the third options shows a wireless extender (bridge) connection to the USB port. My questions are:

1 - Is anyone using this method and how is it working?

2 - If so what extender/bridge are you using - e.g. brand name, model, tech info speed etc.

This may or may not help you:

Went to training last month the adapter dish is using is the Netgear wnda3100. I know this one works, I don't know I any other wifi adapters are supported, but wireless gaming adapters also work.

Consider ethernet over powerline... Works like a charm with both my 622 and 722 and many other devices in my home.
