722 audio drop out HD only TV1 & TV2 live and DVR

Strange events on my 722 as we regularly experience short term 1-3 sec drop out of audio only on hd sources. Video looks solid but it is to the point where we've stopped recording some shows (like Glee) in HD because the loss of audio is so annoying. Only started experiencing this for a few weeks.

The drop out can be experienced on TV1 and TV2 on live and recorded programs.

Can anyone suggest some troubleshooting ideas? Both signals look to be coming from 119.

Wow, maybe this is a unique problem. I've searched around this site and so far only seen issues with TV1 OR TV2 OR hdmi. Nothing as comprehensive as I've got here.

Open to any and all suggestions. My equipment is pretty standard - 1000.2 dish with 2 cables routed directly (no extra switch) to the 722, with a single cable out to TV2.

I hesitate to call DISH because this is a self-install (from 4 months ago) and regardless of the real cause, I'm sure that they'll blame me.

It was the disk. It died on Saturday. New 722 arrived on Wednesday. Back in business - except for some lost shows.
