go to "the List" at the top of the page click subscription list then pick 77 bingo a list

If only locals are on 77 now, I am temped to put up my 500 w/ DPP Twin to pick up 61 and 72 instead of the 1000.4, just to see what I can get.

You'll get lower signal strength. About 10-15% lower if the 1000.4 is properly tweaked. I've already tried it.
But for some you may have no strength loss, using a dish 500, or even pick up strength, again depending on how the 1000.4 is tweaked.
The logical thing to do is to slightly repoint the 1000.4 to maximize strength for 61.5 and 72, and forget about trying to get 77. Cover the outside lnb with foil to help tune in the other 2 birds.

Anybody care to venture a guess as to when 77 will have something more than locals (& maybe PPV)?

I never really spent much time aiming my 1000.4, just got it up and running on a temp mount before I could even pick up 72 (before the new sat), and have never bothered to fine tune it. Although I don't get great signal numbers, I have only lost signal once or twice for a few minutes during heavy rains.
