922 using External Hard Drive - Is this now working?

I have not checked into this forum for a while. Previously using an EHD with the 922 would only allow importing recorded programs into the 922, and did not allow recording to the EHD.

Has that changed? If so, what is the functionality I can do with an External Hard Drive?

I have still not purchased the 922. The EHD is sort of a deal breaker for me.

You can now use it as an archive since the S109 update about a week ago. So that allows you to record something on your 922 then transfer it over to you EHD to restore space on the 922
