942 shortcuts?

To enable or disable close captioning takes 7 or 8 keystrokes on the 942 remote. Is there a way to create a "shortcut" or "macro" that would do this (or other complex actions) in one or 2 keystrokes?

Not that I'm aware of, unless you use a universal remote with a macro button.

That's what you'd need - a programmable remote with macro functionality so you could program a series of keystrokes into one keypress.
