a question about VLC (or PR1200?)

I think my issue is with the PR1200 dish mover. There's a delay of several seconds before the PR1200 moves the dish. This is mostly an issue when going from, say, 91W to 107W. It's as if the VLC app times out but gives no error message. But if I click on the VLC stop icon and then click play the video and audio comes up OK. It doesn't seem to happen when changing from, say, 101W to 103W. Any ideas about this?

The delay before it moves is normal operation for that VBox. I'm not real fond of that characteristic either.
