Can someone tell me what i will need to do to get the audio on the stations on amc 3 using A3C? Thanks for all the help in the past.
 
or get a box that decodes it from the box...of course those are the HD boxes and they are a little more expensive but worth it :)
 
AC-3 is a term generally used in professional environments, Dolby Digital is more commonly used on consumer equipment. They are the same thing. A receiver that decodes Dolby Digital with either a coaxial or optical digital input will work.

Most, if not all AC-3 channels are 2.0 (stereo) instead of the 5.1 or 6.1 surround found on DVDs.
