ABC Gives 'Sons & Daughters' Premiere Date, Sidelines 'Commander'

ABC's new hybrid comedy "Sons & Daughters" will air back-to-back episodes beginning Tuesday, March 7, at 9 p.m. (ET). The hour block of "Sons" replaces the first-season presidential drama "Commander in Chief," which is going on hiatus until the spring, when it will return with original episodes, the network said in a press release Friday.
