Actuator Reduction Idler Gear

During the recent heavy snows the idler reduction gear in my 18" SuperJack XL HQ broke. Does anyone know if a new one or salvage parts are available.

some ideas:

Okay, don't know the hardware that well, but consider these thoughts:

- if it's just confined to the motor, Sadoun sells replacement motors

- go BUD harvesting, and look for one with a similar drive ... or a totally different one you could use

- the front page of WSI/Galaxy has a 24" on sale for $30; entire tube 'n motor

- post a picture or three - never know, someone here may have one ... or a far better idea! - :up

Today I was able to acquire a used actuator at my local sat dealer. It's the same unit that I have currently - so not only do I have a replacement gear but all the other parts for spares.

PS: The sat guy said that NPS was planning on cutting programming at the end of this year. Has anyone else heard this? Does anyone have a source for a comprehensive list of FTA channels?
