adapting mounts

I have an unused pole mount for a 105 Superdish antenna (2" OD IIRC) that I'd like to adapt to fit a standard Dish 500 antenna (1.25" OD maybe): other than thru-bolting & some serious bushing between the outside of the smaller mast & the inside of the larger Superdish pole, is there a way to do this adaptation that's easy & stout?? Thanks for any help....John

There is a thing called a Primestar Pole Adaptor. Other than that you could weld up something to slide over the top.

That is what we call a Primestar Pole adaptor.

We always just called them short-pole adapters.

Not only are they perfect for the Primestar and Superdish poles, but are also great for the cast-iron "stink pipes" coming out of the older homes.
