Hi, I have a dish 1000.2 dish and I want to add 118 west to it, what dish and lnb do I have to buy to plug it in to the lnb in slot on the 1000.2 dish

That isn't gonna happen. Dish is too small. 118.7 takes a much larger dish than the 1k2 to work. It is a low powered sat in comparison to DBS sats that most of dish has in orbit.Here is picture of the dish that the LNBF works on. Assuming your 1K2 is WA (110, 119 and 129) you'll need DP 500 PLUS as a wing dish or DPP 500 PLUS with DP SINGLE (for 129) as a replacement.
Personally I would go with DPP as it gives you better signal gain and it's a single dish on your roof/wall/etc. Just remember to add struts to your 1K2 mast as 500 PLUS is much heavier and its sizeakes for a nice sail

You're wrong on all accounts except the picture description. This can easily happen and LNBF you're describing has room for 129 which is even mentioned in text below picture you linked.
Just get a 1000+ with bracket for the 129 lnb and it will give you 110-118-119-129. problem solved.
That is a 500+ dish not a 1k2. You need the 1000+ like the previous posters have stated.
From a guy who has put up a few hundred dishes or so:
If you want to leave you 1000.2 up.and use a wing dish for 118.7, you can purchase a Dish Pro 500+ and just connect the F port to the input of a 1000.2 and you will get your end result. However you will have 2 dishes....
If you want to simplify the install, do as one person has suggested and set up a Dish Pro Plus 1000 plus (DPP1000+) and get all 4 with one dish....
EDIT: I did the math, more like a couple thousand dishes.
