I am new to dish and just had the dish 500 dish pro plus twin installed. I have a dual room dvr and a a dpp 322. I want to add 2 311. I am planning on running the 322 and the two 311s off a dp 34 multi switch with the 322 having a seperator.
Does this sound right?
By the way, you guys are great!! Thanks for your knowledge and expertise.

No. The Separator can only be used with a DPP switch (internal DPP Twin or external DPP44) and a dual tuner receiver. Also there is the possibility that the DP34 won't work off the DPP Twin as some of the manuals say they're incompatible but others have found it does work.

If you're able to run a 2nd line to both the 625(?) and 322, replace the DPP Twin with a DP Quad and add a DP34. 6 outputs to 6 tuners.

If you need to keep using the Separators, add a DPP44 switch (keep the DPP Twin). 4 outputs to 4 receivers, 2 of which are dual-tuners with Separators.

See http://ekb.dbstalk.com/swconfig.htm for other possibilities.
