adth 6600ir rev c manual, and questions

hello. I got my 3 foot fta ku band dish, plus a adth 6600ir rev c reciever that came with it. how do I tell the reciever to quit asking fore a card? the previous owner used this fore fta chineese programming and I want to use the reciever fta with no smart card. is this possible and how do I fix the reciever? also where can I get latest firmware fore the reciever and any updated sat lists? thanks Hank

That receiver was/is not supported IMO, except for OEM purposes. Its support of motors and/or DiSEqC is sketchy or non existent.
