Al Jazeera Is Now Scrambled

they are in for the long haul. no way in ___ they are going to break even, just cutting losses. aja will never work $$ wise. should have just used the feed we watched.

I watched Al Jazeera English regularly when it was broadcast off-air from Falls Church Virginia, and then I watch the bootleg feed that was available for a few weeks, but that got jammed so now I don't see it at all.

I remember reading that Al Jazeera had hired four cable TV news has-beens to Americanize this variant of their channel, but I am astounded to see that they opened 20 United States news bureau and hired 800 staffers. I thought that they had intended to bring AL Jazeera's view of the world to America, but now it looks like they fancy themselves as 21st century Tocquevilles and have been trying to gather American news for Americans, as well as for abroad.

Does anyone here know if Nielsen reports national numbers for Russia Today? That channel is an absolute riot. It is basically a communist version of Fox News, with a bunch of smarmy babes badmouthing capitalism instead of liberalism. Its panel shows are all set-ups, where one participant assumes the role of the pro-capitalist pinata.

Well I don't watch news but if their financial independence is used to help the 99.99999997% (I'm sure it's a higher percentage then that) of the world population that isn't filthy rich I'm all for them. They must be impartial without being inhuman though, respectful but not subservient to religion and ethnic groups, even when on the news involves places such as Bahrain, Qatar, Iran, Syria, China, Russia, and Saudi Arabia.

LOL. I'm pretty sure that their Internet stream regularly pulled in more viewers than that...

How is it that everyone but the people running these companies can see these failures coming a mile away? How do you get to such a high position of leadership whilst being so obtuse? It boggles the mind.

it did for me....... till they Quit making Coke.......... then i lost any faith in top management. would have liked to have been a fly on the wall at that presentation it must have been bewitching.
" here's what we're going to do.... stop making the #1 soft drink In the World and start selling this... New Coke"

you know it was better than that.
the world changed that day.

Now I watch Al Etejah and Press tv, for middle east and world updates, since AJE was pulled out of the Americas (both on 97w Ku and 58w C)

There are live streams all over. None are "legitimate".
http://eastafro.com/AlJazeera/ - This is probably the best one to use.

Others:
http://www.freeetv.com/modules.php?id=1383&name=Video_Stream&page=watch - Clean
http://www.livenewschat.eu/al-jazeera-news/ -- clean, small screan

BE CAREFUL WITH THIS ONE
http://www.stream2watch.me/live-tv/al-jazeera-live-stream
CAUTION: Watch out for all the pop-ups, IGNORE the requests to download special players, watch in HD and advisories that your computer does not have the right player. It will start up and play fine as is.

Why is it that this website sheets a brick over people viewing channels they aren't authorized to via satellite but they don't care if you view channels you aren't authorized to via the Internet?

Due to my location I´m not geoblocked from the AJE website stream, however link below posted on this thread long ago works even in the US last time we had someone check.

Thing is I´d rather watch it on my big screen than on my PC, so I don´t watch AJE anymore, (congrats to them on losing viewers in the whole Americas via sat).

What I miss and I don´t get on Al Etejah is some of the anchors that I used to watch on AJE, but then again I don´t mind watching the women anchors on Al Etejah with their heads covered ;)

Here´s one of the anchors from AJE, that I miss, Ghida Fakhry

let me give this a try
the sat feeds in the clear are just that in the clear we therefore can watch/post about them. we are not unauthorized so to speak.

now the net we know these persons do not have the authorization to stream these channels.
my guess just a member here

If you desperate for AJE, you can use the FilmOnTv app for Android/Iphone and a Chromecast. They've got AJE, France24, DW-TV, and a few others I've always wished they'd bring over to Ku. It's been nice watching AJE and a few other International News channels again on the TV.

Thanks for that info, sure it would be nice to have France 24, DW and others on Ku, Instead of AJE, I now watch Al Etejah and Press TV.
