You are wrong. At this time we don't want to be on voom, we would rather
support and work w our existing partners

That's pretty obstinate & disappointing. Maybe he knows something about InHD coming to ....

The disappointing part is the rare gem (Wild Bunch) or gem of a different cut (Wild Things), but all in all I have missed the lack of HDnet & HDnet movies VERY little.

Where Eagles Dare. Now that's a great epic movie (actually more action/war than epic, but GREAT. On Cinema 7.

I do not know how many people look at this thread but I have been keeping it up to date with primetime HD schedule. I hope you take advantage of this and look what new programs will be coming to VOOM and so on. If you would like to have some of your programs listed, let me know and I will do so. Not everything is posted here except for the premium movies channels. You may always create an individual alert if you desire but this thread reflects all the alerts that I think are important. Again suggestions/recommendations are accepted.

Sean, I admire your efforts! Thanks for this great thread! Very helpful!

sean - didn't mean to overstep any bounds with game alert this am. my pg has game starting at 1200 and as soon as soccerage.com updates start times we'll be back in sync. the question/suggestion if we use this thread is yes, we do, and i take your recommendation as valid and reasonable, sooo...we're good.

sandpit,

no problem and you did not overstep any bounds. As a matter of fact I like your post and encourage others to do so, as well. We are here for the programming and that's what is important in the end.

Sean, may be you should rename this thread to something like "Daily alerts..." or "Today's alerts..." to stress the fact that it is updated daily... Just a thought.

DiscoveryHD

Not sure if anyone else has seen this but they just showed an hd version of the trailer for Dawn of the Dead!

Damn Cinemax for putting movies on like "The Court Jester" with Danny Kaye at 6AM, hours prior to HDTVmagazine comes out.... :(

I agree that HDTV magazine often arrives late but 6am EST is 3am PST where I live and there is no way to be up then for a movie.

But HDTV magazine also lists every Cinemax program as hd in their guide, but not all are shown in hd. I had been looking forward to some of their late night soft porn shows in hd. Oh well, reality is better anyway.

Shelly

I should just look at the morning through evening time slots the prior night on zap2it, but I am as lazy at that as I am at downnloading each content provider's info :)

Tonight at 6 PST Tom Petty is on Soundstage followed by Micheal MacDonald. Both of these concerts are excellent. For you HDNET'rs out there, Heart Alive in Seattle is on at 3:30 PST, this is also an excellent concert.

Sean : I know that WGN is a local Chicago channel but I get it with D* in Houston...I'm a Cub fan and Astro fan ...Baseball has been very good to me !

The AVS forum under HDTV programing said that WGN was going to broadcast in HD, just wondering if Voom was going to add WGN ....Do know or think they will ...HD=Voom
