Is anything hot on AMC 16 right now? I can't even raise a signal from Ices' I need a strong transponder post. Signal seems fine on all other satellites.

Hey Bob thanks, that is the one I tried from Icebergs post. I can't seem to get any signal. I just thought I'd scan some of the less popular sats for a change.

There's something hot on 12145 V 3980, my Merc just discovered the tp. Don't know the channel yet. What seems to happen on this bird is that they turn off the echostar test card when they have another tp active , possibly to save power. Makes it a tough bird to hit, since you can't count on any single tp to be hot. [edit] also a hot tp at 12165 H 4339, some sort of music/religious concert. I think I see Iceberg on the floor, there, must be in the wild north country.

Thanks Brent. I'm not seeing anything there either. Nice strong signal on the versus hockey game though
