AMC 2-AMC 4

I was killing some time the other day and was looking at LyngSat and I noticed that AMC 2, a C Band satellite and AMC 4, a C and Ku satellite are both located at 101 degress W. What I found out is that if you manually enter the C Band FRs from AMC 2 they come in perfect, but if you do a blind scan you get th C Band channels from AMC 4. Am I missing something here, or am I just crazy?

Jim They're co-located there so to the "mere mortal" there is no different. The box should scan all frequencies on both. The frequencies cant overlap (cant have same frequencies on both at the same time) but it should act just fine

are you saying when you blind scan you dont get the stuff that Lyngsat claims is on AMC2?

That is true. A blind scan gave me the AMC 4 stuff only. I manually entered the Familyland channal on 2 and it came in fine, blind scan produced nothing from 2.
