AMC 9 at 83.0

I would like to know if the signal from AMC 9 at 83.0 from RTV How good is this signal on Puerto Rico ? I been trying to get this satellite with no luck so far .
I got a direct t.v. satellite antenna 3 feet and 8 inches wide with a LNBF Model:785A
RF:11.70/12.20GHz IF:950/1450MHz LO:10.75 Gain:60dB and Noise Figure:0.dB I got a Captive Works 800S I know my Latitude:18.08643 North and Longitude:67.152226 West . i got sat .elevation 62.07 and the to 11735H 4444 3/4 Thanks for any inf. advance

RTV on AMC9

Interesting ... I just put the tp (11735-H-4444) in my receiver and am getting the RTN east and west signal but they're very choppy, between 26-33%, blocky pic and choppy sound, unwatchable. For reference the nbc news test pattern (amc9/3f) is 53-60 and no problem.

going to try a computer sat card...

Was getting excited about something to replace the old rtn at 123w

RTV is a weaker signal here in the states. Most folks need a 36" or larger dish for optimum reception.

Here in Minnesota RTV is around 45 on the meter whereas the NBC feed (11775) is at 95 quality

do not know which receiver you are using but mine is coolsat 5000 I have it at 11736 H 4440
