If C band completely dies (sounds like they'll keep a small portion, maybe...) I'll just use my 10 footer for Ku. No (perceivable) rain fade then
That only works well with solid dishes. Mesh have degraded performance on Ku band. Also, my 3.7m still gets some rain fade on the heaviest downpours. It does outlast my smaller Ku dishes though.
