Amiko Americas/FridgeFTA Satellite is pleased to announce that we have an exclusive AMIKO representative at Hamvention 2014.

GotCband.com has a booth and plenty of AMIKO and TITANIUM SATELLITE products at the show for demo and purchase. I hear that the awesome Titanium ASC-1 will be available as well as Amiko Mini HD SE and Nano HD STB’s. I am also told a variety of Amiko accessories not commonly available in North America are available such as the Slim L103 LNBF, Premium L104 PLL LNBF, DiSEqC 1.1 uncommited 8x1’s and much more.

Looks like there will be other brand LNBFs, switches, 90cm dishes and much more at the booth. If you are in town for Hamvention and want to save on shipping or just look at a Titanium or Amiko Product, the GotCband booth is the place to be.

I'm about 160 mile from dayton this year but i'm working all weekend :( I'm not a ham but it would be nice to go see everything maybe next year :)

Although the weather was not great for the flea market the inside of the arena was jammed. There were a lot more booths and vendors from foreign countries. The economy looked a lot better for the city of Dayton as it did not look plighted as in other years I've gone to the Hamvention.

I was surprised to see that there was an area set aside for High School Robotics, and on Saturday there was a group of teens demonstrating the Robots and circulating inform on Robotic contest that they participate in.

My highlight was meeting Wallyhts and seeing FTA products at the convention, his booth was set up in a great area, right next to the ARRL section. He had a lot of traffic passing in front of his display. I hope he did well on selling his products. I think that if he would attend a Makers Faire that he would also do well. I did mention to Wally that I also go to the Makers Faire in September in Flushing, NY and hope to see him there.

Fantastic Idea on going to a Makers Faire.
