I was given a fix Andrew Channel Master 1.0m/34 inches, with a single feed Ku-LNR gain 62db made by California Amplifier.

Can I use this combination to receive FTA Channels. I was planning to buy a Coolsat 7000 miCro PVR receiver. Do I need to add more LNB? Should I get a motor? What do you recommed? I have Direct TV and I am planning to cancel it.

Thank you!

Wouldn't cancel the pay-tv just yet, thats not what fta is about. (though you may very well decide to cancel it later-there is a lot of free tv to watch with FTA receivers)
Read all the FAQS here, should answer a lot of your questions. If your lnb is still good, that sounds like a fine dish to use, 1m and bigger will get you most everything available at a good signal level. Maybe good to start out on one satellite, like Galaxy10, to view a good sample of what is up there. Not familliar with that model dish, but most of them can be fitted for a motor to view other satellites.
Just remember, free to air is a bit of everything, but the pay-tv systems are scrambled & the fta rec won't decode it. (Not legally anyway)

Thank you for the advice. I will check FAQ and may have more questions. Enjoy your weekend!

I have a TVV3X4 connected to four Direct TV receivers. What switch do it need to connect another Dish on the existing connection?

If you're considering attaching a Ku FTA dish to your DirecTV system, don't do it. It won't work... it's best to keep the FTA system completely separate from the pay TV services. This would involve running another coax into your home, but its worth the hassle to avoid many other problems.
